You can activate your Insurance Card online 24/7 at https://insurancecards.davidjones.com/activate/ using your Shipping Order ID and Activation Code. This information can be found on your Shipping Confirmation email that was sent to you upon dispatch of your card.

You can use your Insurance Claim Card to purchase merchandise or services at David Jones, with the exception of David Jones Gift Cards. The Insurance Claim Card cannot be used as payment towards any David Jones, or other branded, credit or store card accounts.

Yes. You can shop with your card online at davidjones.com. You will require a PIN to shop online. Should you require a PIN, please contact Corporate Services on 1300 301 906 Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm (AEST).

You can check the balance on your Insurance Card online at https://insurancecards.davidjones.com/check-balance/.

No. Your Insurance Card will not expire. The balance can continue to be used until the balance is reduced to zero.

No. Statements are not issued for Insurance Cards. We recommend you retain receipts from any purchases made using your Insurance Card as a reference.

Contact Corporate Services on 1300 301 906, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (AEST) or corporate.services@davidjones.com.au immediately if your Insurance Card is lost, stolen or damaged. Please note, you are liable for any purchases made on your Insurance Card until it is reported lost or stolen.

Yes, if you wish to make a purchase greater than the available balance on your David Jones Insurance Card, you can add a combination of any of the following: David Jones Celebration Card, David Jones Gift Cards, a Credit Card, or David Jones Storecard.

When shopping with your David Jones Insurance Card online, the amount of the purchase or the available funds on your Card will be automatically deducted, whichever is the smaller amount.
