Your Insurance Claim Card must be activated before you can shop at any David Jones store. You can activate your Insurance Claim Card by telephoning 1300 301 906 , Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm AEST. The claim number and the name of the insured will be requested at the time of activation.

You can use your Insurance Claim Card to purchase any merchandise or service in our stores. The Insurance Claim Card cannot be applied as a payment to an existing David Jones branded Credit Card or Store Card accounts or used to purchase David Jones Gift Cards.

Yes. You can shop with your card online at Davidjones.com. You’ll need to use the PIN provided to you when you activate your Card.

You can check the balance on your Insurance Claim Card as follows:

  • Logging in to view your balance and using your card number and PIN.
  • If you’re shopping with your David Jones Insurance Card Online, your balance will be displayed when you enter your Card details.

No. Your Insurance Claim Card will not expire The Card will be automatically closed when the balance is reduced to zero.

No. Statements are not issued for the David Jones Insurance Claim Card. However your transaction history is available online using your card number and PIN.

Contact Corporate Services on 1300 301 906 , Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm AEST immediately if your Insurance Claim Card is lost, stolen or damaged. Please note, you are liable for any purchases made on your Insurance Claim Card until it is reported lost or stolen.

Yes, if you wish to make a purchase greater than the available balance on your David Jones Insurance Card, you can add a combination of any of the following: David Jones Celebration Card, David Jones Gift Cards, a Credit Card, or David Jones Storecard.

When shopping with your David Jones Insurance Card online, the amount of the purchase or the available funds on your Card will be automatically deducted, whichever is the smaller amount.
