You can cancel a Click & Collect order at any time before Collection. Just contact the Customer Service Centre of the store you nominated for collection to cancel it.

Step 1

Browse via the product categories that you can find at the top of the page and refine your search with the options you can find on the left hand menu. For more information on any product, simply click on the image to take a closer look. On each product page you will find information about David Jones Credit Card Reward Points, size and colour variations, stock availability for delivery and Click & Collect, product information, product delivery details, size chart, products ratings and reviews.

Step 2

If you decide to purchase an item, add the item to your Shopping Bag by clicking the ‘Add to Shopping Bag’ button. Look out for matching or complementary items that may be available. Continue shopping across our store with brands you know and love.

Step 3

A list of all items within your Shopping Bag will be displayed in the top right hand corner of each page. You can view the contents of your Shopping Bag at any time by clicking ‘View Bag’ or you can proceed to Checkout if you have added all your products.

Step 4

When you are ready to purchase your items, click the ‘Shopping Bag’ button. This will take you to the ‘Shopping Bag’ which lists all of the items you have chosen to purchase, as well as the subtotal of the cost. If any special offers are available on your chosen items, the details of these will be displayed in your ‘Shopping Bag’. Make and update any changes to your order and remember to enter and verify your promotional code if you have one.

Step 5

If you have previously registered with us you can login now so that you can track your order. New customers can ‘Checkout as a Guest’ where you will have the options of creating an account during checkout. Creating an account with David Jones is a quick and easy process and allows you to track the progress of your orders; be the first in the know for any special offers; make a wishlist of products you love and will make future transactions smooth and seamless. Remember to make a note of your password, as you will need it to keep track of your order and to shop with us again.

Step 6

Enter your billing and delivery details; choose your delivery method and Gift Wrap options including Greeting Card and then select your method of payment, enter the details then click on ‘Next’ to pay.

Step 7

We will send you a confirmation email to confirm that we have received your order and another one when your order has been despatched from our Fulfilment Centre, including your tracking details.

Simply click on Create an Account and follow the prompts to set up a secure account.

Yes. At David Jones we take your privacy seriously. For more information please see the David Jones Privacy Policy. We store any information you give us securely and we use high-level SSL encryption technology which is the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions. David Jones does not store your personal credit card information so we will ask for this to process any returns.

Once you've completed your order, it will already be progressing to the next stage, so it won't be possible to change it. Don't worry. If your purchase isn't quite what you expected, you can easily return or exchange your order in line with our convenient Returns Policy. If your order is click and collect you are able to cancel at anytime prior to collection, just contact the Customer Service Centre of your nominated store.

Click & Collect is available at all Australian David Jones stores. You will find most products online available to purchase via Click & Collect. At checkout, you can search your local stores to see if they have the product you're looking for.

We accept David Jones Credit Card, David Jones Storecard, David Jones Celebration Card, David Jones Insurance Card, David Jones Gift Cards (With PIN), American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners, JCB Credit Cards, PayPal and Afterpay.

The Australian Tax Office has reported an increased number of scammers contacting members of the public pretending to be from the ATO, Australian Federal Police or state police threatening their targets with arrest and fraudulently demanding payment of outstanding tax debts by gift card.

While these scam calls may appear to be authorised and use a fake caller ID, it is important to remember that a legitimate caller from the ATO or police will never:

  • threaten you with arrest
  • demand immediate payment, particularly through unusual means such as bitcoin, pre-paid credit cards or Gift Cards
  • request any person to make purchases of Gift Cards using their own financial payments
  • refuse to allow you to speak with a trusted advisor or your regular tax agent
  • present a phone number on caller ID.

If you are contacted by anyone claiming to represent the ATO or police and requesting you purchase Gift Cards, we strongly advise you immediately discontinue the call.

All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your credit card refuses to or for some reason does not authorise payment to David Jones then you will be notified of this during the checkout process. For further details of declined payments, please contact your card issuer.

In some instances, a pending transaction may be held by your financial institution and will drop off after approximately 10 days. Where full payment has been taken, rest assured a full refund has been processed back to your original payment method.

When items purchased in store are returned to our warehouse, David Jones is required to contact you to facilitate a refund manually over the phone. You may choose to have your refund processed back on your original payment method used to make the purchase, or a David Jones E-gift card.

When a refund is required to be processed over the phone, we will schedule the next available time for our Customer Care team to call you. You will receive an email and text message with the date and time of this appointment.

At this point in time we do not deliver Overseas.

If you are shopping online with us from outside Australia, please note that in the time that passes between the original purchase and any requested refund the currency may have fluctuated up or down. All prices on Davidjones.com are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and all purchases and refunds are transacted in Australian Dollars (AUD).

We are unable to adjust this amount and any amount that customers may have lost or gained due to the currency rate fluctuation. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

On the rare occasions an item at our Fulfilment Centre may be damaged or missing and we will only find out when we go to pick your order. Although this does not happen often, we will contact you to arrange a refund or replacement item in these instances.

When you purchase on David Jones online you’ll receive an email with a tracking number. You can use this tracking number to track your order. You can also view the delivery status of your order in your Online Account. Some products are shipped directly from our suppliers and may not have a tracking number.

If you purchase more than one item with us these may be shipped out from different locations. In this instance you will receive separate emails with tracking numbers for each shipment. Please see our Delivery Information for more information.

Australia Post provides our Standard, Sydney Same Day and National Express deliveries services. Star Track provides Sydney Same Day/ Evening/ Saturday and Sunday delivery services. Standard Bulky Delivery and items shipped direct from our External Vendors will be provided by the manufacturer who may choose a different service provider.

To ensure the security of your order a signature is required when a delivery is made unless you have selected Unattended Delivery. Orders delivered via Sydney Same Day/Evening/Saturday and Sunday are ineligible for Unattended Delivery. Risk and title in the goods passes to the recipient upon delivery of the goods to your nominated Delivery Address if unattended delivery is selected. You can nominate to have your order left unattended by providing instructions where we can leave your purchase in a secure location during checkout. Orders delivered via Sydney Same Day are ineligible for Unattended Delivery. Risk and title in the goods passes to the recipient upon delivery of the goods to your nominated Delivery Address. Please note: From 26 June, MyPost registered receivers will get a digital notification by email, SMS or the AusPost app if Australian Post has attempted delivery, but no one was home. They will no longer leave a ‘sorry we missed you’ card.

Any parcel weighing over 16 kilograms will be delivered to a post office.

Please note if you change your mind and choose to cancel your bulky order there is a 25% cancellation fee that will be deducted from your refund. Bulky items are dispatched directly from our vendors as such stock cannot be held for future delivery dates. Please also note that items which are made to order have varying delivery time frames and on occasion can take several weeks.

Please note an additional fee may be charged if your property is difficult to access or the delivery team are impeded with the bulky item. For example stairs or narrow doorways.

Please note that fragrance and other flammable goods cannot be returned by post. These items can be returned in store provided that it meets the Terms and Conditions of our Returns Policy.

Bulky items are dispatched directly from our vendors as such on rare occasions items can become backordered. Although this does not happen often, we will notify you via email with the option to wait for the stock to be replenished or to cancel your order.

Yes. We offer a complimentary gift wrapping service for purchases made with a David Jones Credit Card or David Jones Storecard. For purchases made with other forms of payment the charge is $9.95 per gift wrapped item.

You can select to have your purchases wrapped individually or as a bundled item in once package. Where items are shipped directly from the manufacturerand you have chosen to have your items gift wrapped, they will be wrapped separately at no additional cost.

Yes, all online orders will include a proof of purchase making refund, exchanging and warranty of the item easy for the recipient.
