If you are a New Zealand customer, you can register your occasion at our Wellington store. Online registry is not currently available for New Zealand occasions. Click here for store location and contact details.

For a wedding we recommend setting up your registry at least 2 weeks prior to sending your invitations to your guests. For other occasions we recommend at least 4-6 weeks prior.

Yes. Your Guests can purchase any of the gifts on your Gift List online or make contributions to your David Jones Celebration Card, provided that you have nominated to receive delivery by David Jones. If you would prefer your guests to be able to bring their gifts with them, your family and friends can still purchase gifts online but will need to nominate another address within Australia to have the gifts sent to.

You can add or remove items on your Gift List online or in any of our stores. To add/remove items to your Gift List online please click here and log into your Registry profile. If you wish to visit a Gift Registry location and have one of our Registry experts assist you please click here for location details and contact information. Or simply ask one of our team instore at any Concierge or Customer Service Centre.

You may use any smart phone or tablet instore to scan items to your registry. If you need assistance instore, just ask at any Homewares counter or at a Concierge or Customer Service Centre.

Yes, David Jones will provide you with Registry Cards that you may include in your invitations or an Occasion ID that you may include on a digital invitation

David Jones delivers Gift Registry gifts, including the Celebration Card, within Australia only. For any occasions Registered at our Wellington location, David Jones delivers within New Zealand only. Celebration cards are currently unavailable in New Zealand.

Yes, you are able to use your David Jones Celebration Card to purchase remaining gifts that are eligible for the completion offer in store. Completion offers and brand benefits programs are available instore only.

Unfortunately the Completion Offer is redeemable instore only.

For a small service fee guests may have their gifts wrapped and delivered. Gifts are delivered on a date nominated by the Registrant(s). Alternatively, guests can choose to take the gift with them when they purchase instore or online.

To make an appointment, simply click the ‘Book Now’ button under the service you’re looking for and follow the prompts.

You’ll receive a confirmation email which contains all the relevant information about your appointment.

You can book an appointment for the following services: Gift Registry, Personal Shopping Services, Beauty Services, Lingerie Fittings and Bridal at David Jones. Click here for more information and service location details.

To change or cancel your appointment, click the link in your confirmation email and follow the prompts to make the changes you require.

Appointments for the Gift Registry Service and Personal Shopping Services can be made up to 8 weeks in advance. Appointments for Bridal at David Jones can be made up to 6 months in advance.

You can postpone your registry date by simply changing the occasion date in your profile. If you wish to cancel your registry please contact our Online Customer Service team on

Once you’ve selected a service, you’ll see a calendar with all available appointment times clearly displayed.

Yes, you can purchase from any Gift List online. Your gift will be delivered to the registrants at a time of their choice. You can also make a contribution to a David Jones Celebration Card online. *Note some gifts may be available for purchase instore only

We accept David Jones American Express Card, David Jones American Express Platinum Card, David Jones Storecard, David Jones Celebration Card, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners, JCB Credit Cards, PayPal and Afterpay.

Yes, all gift prices on the Gift List are in Australian Dollars. New Zealand site prices are in New Zealand Dollars.

Yes, they can simply shop your occasion online from anywhere in the world. Your gift will be delivered to the registrants at a time of their choice.

Your purchase will be wrapped in our signature gift wrap and delivered for a nominal service fee. Due to their size, gifts such as large appliances and furniture are not gift wrapped. A registrant may choose our ‘No Wrap’ option, which means that they have chosen not to have items from their list gift wrapped. You can select to send a personalised Greeting Card message with your online purchase.

You can shop a Gift Registry at any of our stores. Just select the item you wish to purchase by looking up the occasion online and let our team member know when you are purchasing the item that it is for a Registry.

The David Jones Celebration Card gives your guests the flexibility of contributing funds to a card that Registrants can then use to purchase from a wide range of products and services in any David Jones stores and online.

Yes, the David Jones Celebration Card is optional and can be added to your Gift List at any time.

There are three ways you can contribute to a David Jones Celebration Card:

  • Online at davidjones.com.au
  • Visit any David Jones store
  • Call a Gift Registry Consultant on 1300 300 111 to contribute over the phone

Guests can only contribute to a David Jones Celebration Card if it has been added as an item to the Registrant’s Gift List.
