The Mocktail Recipes to Love This February

Whether you’re choosing to fast this Feb or looking for refreshments to please a crowd, opting for alcohol-free doesn’t mean missing out on happy hour when these flavours are full of life.

Garden Party Punch

For soirees in the sunshine, let the fresh flavours of Seedlip’s non-alcoholic spirits cool you down.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup watermelon, scooped into rounds with a melon baller from ½ chilled seedless watermelon
Juice remaining watermelon
½ thinly sliced Lebanese cucumber
2 limes, sliced
6 – 8 mint sprigs
100ml Seedlip Garden 108
2 tbs sugar syrup
750ml chilled lemonade
Edible flowers, to garnish

METHOD

Using a melon baller, scoop melon balls from a chilled mini seedless watermelon, then remove the remaining flesh and juice, set aside. Half-fill a jug with ice, then on top add melon balls, thinly sliced Lebanese cucumber, sliced limes and mint springs. Pour Seedlip Garden 108 into the jug, along with sugar syrup, chilled lemonade and topped with watermelon juice, to taste. Stir, pour in glasses garnished with edible flowers.

Entertaining is about sharing and celebrating beautiful moments together, and this delicious martini packs a punch at happy hour.

INGREDIENTS

60mL Lyre’s Dry London Spirit
7.5mL premium vanilla syrup
30mL fresh passionfruit pulp, setting aside a passionfruit shell to garnish
15mL Lime Juice
60mL Lyre’s Classico (on the side)* or a good quality soda water

METHOD

Fill a cocktail shaker with a generous serving of ice. Pour Lyre’s Dry London Spirit, vanilla syrup, passionfruit pulp and lime juice. Shake vigorously, briefly. Serve in your favorite cocktail coupe, with a shot glass of soda water or Classico on the side, topping cocktail to taste.

The New Old Fashioned

Smooth, simple, and most pleasing to the palate, discover an alcohol-free take on the classic Old Fashioned with Lyre’s American Malt.

INGREDIENTS

60mL Lyre’s American Malt
5mL white sugar syrup
2 dashes aromatic bitters
Orange peel

Stir Lyre’s American Malt, sugar syrup and aromatic bitters over fresh ice. Rub orange peel around the rim, flesh side down. Twist and add to glass.

An Espresso Martin0

For the ultimate after dark pick-me up, choose a perfectly spiced Espresso MartinO.

INGREDIENTS

30ml Seedlip Spice 94
30ml freshly brewed strong coffee
15ml Sugar syrup

METHOD

Add Spice 94, coffee and sugar syrup to a cocktail shaker, generously filled with ice. Shake vigorously, double strain into a coupe glass.
