Take a Front Row Seat at Our Spring Summer 2022 Runway

From the star-studded guest list to the trends of the season, we’ve rounded up everything to know from our Spring Summer 2022 runway.

Bold, bright and filled with fresh optimism, Spring Summer 2022 arrived on last night’s runway in a big way. Held at the iconic Level 8 Gallery in our Elizabeth Street Flagship store, the season’s debut ushered in a wave of sartorial new beginnings big and small. Drawing on the theme of Wonderworld, each look ignited an appetite for adventure with a balance of play and practicality coming to the fore.

Once home to Rodin sculptures and cutting-edge art collections, Level 8 and its rich history made it the perfect place to bring the immersive runway to life. In a scene that was both otherwordly and architectural, the set transformed a salon-style show into a modern dreamscape with reflections of water, sky and mountains lining the meandering runway.

Alémais is the embodiment of Golden Hour.

Hand in hand with the notion of ‘buying less and buying better’ is one of this season’s key trends, Modern Minimalism. Decidedly elevated, Modern Minimalism looks to investment pieces with subtle, but no less luxurious textures and clean lines. Championed by the likes of Anna Quan and Camilla and Marc, consider it your go-to for when you want to feel a mix of effortlessly cool and classic. When the soiree calls for daytime elegance, lean into the haze of sun-soaked summer afternoons and channel the Golden Hour trend with vintage-inspired florals and warm hues. 2022 National Designer Award winner Alémais does it best with their spirited prints and consciously crafted silhouettes.

For those seeking a look that feels a little louder, let the Afterparty trend lead the way. From sequins and feathers to high-impact shapes, the latest arrivals are ready to make your next statement for you. Echoing a different kind of revival, the Total Euphoria trend is throwing it way back to the glory days of Y2K.
