FOOD PAIRING NOTES
The juicy nature of this Nebbiolo would suit it towards matching with salty cheeses (e.g. feta, parmigiano) and smoky charcuterie meats. It still however has the strength to match to heartier beef dishes and barbecued meats.

PROFILE
Stelvin. Rosso di Rocca is 98% Nebbiolo and 2% Cabernet Franc, with the Nebbiolo hailing from a vineyard at Magliano Alfieri in the first hills of the Roero region. The vines here were planted in 1998 and 1967, and the parcel was purchased in 2016. The Cabernet Franc comes from 20-year-old Estate vines in Barbaresco.

TASTING NOTES
Roero's sandy soils gift a lighter, brighter, early drinking wine compared to the other Nebbiolos from Albino Rocca. The wine's upbringing (solely in tank) and early bottling helps keep to this theme. Pretty and aromatic, this light-bodied Nebbiolo is a tasty every-day drinker, with sweet red cherry and blood orange on the nose, more on the palate and a finish full of spice.
