Established in 1815, Ardbeg is revered by connoisseurs around the world as among the peatiest and smokiest, yet most complex, of all the Islay malts.  Despite its smokiness, it is renowned for its delicious sweetness, a phenomenon that has affectionately become known as ‘the peaty paradox’.

Ardbeg Ten Years Old is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex single malt of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat; rather it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to produce a whisky of perfect balance.

Tasting Notes:

A burst of peat, infused with lemon and lime wrapped in dark chocolate, is followed by notes of menthol and black pepper. A veritable explosion of flavours includes lime juice, black pepper and cinnamon-spiced toffee, which precede smooth buttermilk, ripe bananas and currants.

The perfect serve - Enjoy neat, with a little water or 2-3 large rocks of ice

Craftsmanship:

Single Malt Whisky. Matured in first-fill and second-fill ex-bourbon American oak casks, Ten Years Old is non-chill filtered, which retains maximum flavour and gives the whisky added depth and body.
