PROFILE
Juniper Estate is one of the oldest vineyards in the Margaret River Region with vines first planted in 1973. The dry-grown vineyard is planted on the Wilyabrup gravely loam which has produced so many of the Margaret River wines which now command Australia-wide & international recognition. The Juniper Crossing Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is made as a bright, fruit-driven style with moderate oak influence and good structure.

TASTING NOTES
Vibrant ruby red in colour, with aromas of mulberry, blackcurrant, raspberry, cherry and a hint of plum appearing first on the nose followed by background suggestions of vanilla, spice and chocolate from the French oak. The palate is refined with a wonderful array of red and black berry flavours; fine, powdery tannins support the palate, with biscuity oak, and cassis flavours on the finish.
