THE CREATION

Rouge Hermès represents 24 shades with 10 matte and 14 satiny finishes. The choice of 24 is not insignificant, but a nod to the maison's historic address, 24 rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris.

THE FORMULATION

THE OBJECT
Designed by Pierre Hardy, the polished and brushed, lacquered metal object is protected by a canvas bag and slipped inside a small orange box. Its design creates tension between the maison's contemporary spirit and its history told by the Ex-Libris.
