KRIS WINES PINOT GRIGIO 2022

Kris is from the Delle Venezie, the historical term for the three regions of the Veneto, encompassing Trentino-Alto Adige, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and the Veneto. Always on point the 2022 looks to be the best we have seen and that should probably come as no surprise given the team that craft it are from famed estate Franz Haas.

White peach and crunchy apple and pear to the fore with a gently spiced, quartz/mineral nose. The palate is clean as a whistle with a core of sweet white fruits cut with bright, zippy acidity. At the same time the palate is generous with a lovely textural element that gives it nice weight and punch while always remaining bright and fresh. Another fantastic effort! PWS
