The Le Creuset story began in 1925 when an enamelling specialist and a casting specialist joined forces to create the enamelled cast iron cookware that is renowned and loved around the world today. Colour co-ordinated to match the cast iron cookware this highly versatile, heat-resistant silicone trivet in the Heritage design can be used as a surface protector for use under hot cookware and items that can scratch delicate surfaces. 

Also very useful as an anti-slip mat under cutting boards and bowls or as a pot holder for handling warm cookware and a jar lid gripper for opening jars and containers.
