The Le Creuset story began in 1925 when an enamelling specialist and a casting specialist joined forces to create the enamelled cast iron cookware that is renowned and loved around the world today.  

The enamelling expertise to make the iconic Le Creuset cast iron cookware is also used to create a range of glazed stoneware for oven to table serving, preparation and storage. Made from specialist clays and fired at the highest temperatures, the stoneware range is available in colours to match the cast iron cookware and other accessories to co-ordinate any table or kitchen.  

Chambray, by its free-flowing textile namesake, is a relaxed blue with grey undertones. The coolness and versatility of this shade is at once comfortable with other blues in our collection or completes a neutral palette combined with softer tones in the Le Creuset collection.
