Simply log in to your David Jones Online account and click 'Link Latitude' from the My Benefits page and follow the prompts to be eligible for the David Jones Member shopping benefits.

You will need to link their DJ credit card with their David Jones online account to access your benefits online.

Your migrated points will be available in your David Jones Credit Card App between 16-18 July 2024.

The easiest way to activate your David Jones Premiere credit card or David Jones Prestige credit card is online or through the Latitude App. For more information on how to activate your credit card, head to the Latitude Help Centre.

To access your David Jones Credit Card benefits online, please log out of your session and log back in. If you are still unable to view your benefits you can link your David Jones credit card to your online profile.

On a new page log into your Latitude portal
Enter the verification code sent to your mobile
Select the card to link to your David Jones profile
On your David Jones account you will receive notification that your card has been successfully linked – your benefits are now unlocked!

Your David Jones American Express/Storecard will stop working around 8pm on Saturday 13 July.

Last year we announced that the Credit Card partnership between David Jones and American Express is coming to an end.

David Jones has now partnered with Latitude Financial Services to create a new David Jones credit card program, backed by Mastercard®.

David Jones and Latitude will provide further details about the new David Jones credit card program in the coming months. If you have an eligible David Jones Card, you will be transitioned onto a new David Jones credit card, which is expected to occur in July 2024. As part of the transition process, your outstanding balance on your existing David Jones Card will be transferred from American Express to Latitude and you will be issued with a brand new David Jones credit card. Your outstanding balance will be payable to Latitude.
We will share more information with you via email or through the post in the coming months with details about the features and benefits of your new credit card and tell you when it’s arriving.

To ensure we can contact you about your new credit card, check and update your contact details and postal address, through your current American Express Online Account.

You can keep using your David Jones Card normally.

Latitude are the leading non-bank lender in Australia and they have been the lender behind lots of other retail cards, like Coles, Myer, Apple and Harvey Norman. We chose Latitude because they have a modern technology platform that will deliver an improved experience for our customers.

Your member reward points balance will be transferred across to your new David Jones credit card.

There is no need to redeem your points before the transfer.

To cancel your card, you’ll need to cancel your David Jones American Express card by calling 1300 368 989 or messaging via the Amex App or your Online Account.

Yes, David Jones Platinum Card customers will continue to receive travel insurance.

Eligible and active David Jones Card customers will have any additional cards reissued.

Please set up your mobile app, activiate your new card and set up your new pin as soon as receive it/prior to your departure. Continue to use your Amex card until 15th July, where you will receive an SMS confirming your new David Jones Credit Card is ready for use.

Yes, additional cardholders will be included in the transition.

Yes, all major digital wallets will be available to use with your new David Jones credit card.

Your existing reward points will transfer to the new David Jones points program. These points will transfer at a 1:1 value e.g if you have 20,000 points today, you will receive 20,000 David Jones points as part of the transition.

Two complimentary lounge access passes are available to David Jones Prestige account holders during a calendar year. Each booking is admission to one (1) person only. To access passes, account holders must confirm their lounge booking in advance through the Luxury Escape website. Please provide promo code available in the Latitude Mobile App for your account to gain complementary lounge access. Once confirmed, you will receive booking confirmation email. Lounges are available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

Customers will be able to access international lounges provided by luxury escapes in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth airports. For instructions on how to book your airport lounge, please refer to the Latitude Help Centre page.

Yes, you will need to purchase your travel on your David Jones Prestige card to be eligible for the travel insurance benefits.

Where you have made a transaction on your David Jones American Express Card before it is cancelled, you will continue to be covered under your David Jones American Express insurance policy. Eligibility requirements and exclusions under the policy still apply. See your David Jones American Express Card policy documents for more information, including how to claim.

You can earn points on transactions wherever Mastercard is accepted including overseas purchases.

You will receive 3 points for every dollar spent at major participating supermarkets and petrol stations. Please review the participating list here. Disclaimer: The lists of participating outlets stated above are subject to change/removal without any notification. All other everyday spend you will receive 1 point for every dollar spent.

You can pay with points online however in-store is currently unavailable.

A minimum of 3750 points (worth $25) is required for Pay with Points.

In the interim, please continue paying your account on its current due date, as per your statement.

If you have recently cancelled your David Jones Card and have an outstanding balance, your balance will not be transferred to a new David Jones credit card. You will need to continue to pay down your balance with American Express.

You will need to update any scheduled payments or subscriptions you have with your David Jones Card.

You’ll need to contact retailers directly and provide them with your new credit card number.

The interest rate will remain the same on your new David Jones credit card. We will provide you with a comprehensive overview of all fees and charges associated with the new credit card in the coming months.

All interest free plans will transition to Latitude and your new David Jones Credit Card.

We will only charge your annual fee on your next anniversary due date.

Your annual fee anniversary date at which the fee is charged will remain the same. For example, if you have been charged an annual fee in March 2024, your next annual fee will be charged in March 2025.
