The set

Kicking off with a special performance by George Maple, last night’s Collections Launch was held at Sydney’s iconic Australia Technology Park. In addition to the industrial venue’s awe-inspiring atmosphere, guests were treated to a visual feast of hologram technology that featured prominently in the space – style with a side of sci-fi.

The main event

Starring modelling sensation Victoria Lee – our newest ambassador – last night’s Collections Launch offered an unforgettable multi-sensory experience. It began with Veuve Clicquot bubbly and a gourmet entrée – talk about a fine reception – before guests were seated for the main event. Featuring over 230 exits and 40 brands, the show included some of the finest men’s and women’s Australian and international designers, most notably our newest arrivals Kate Sylvester, Jacquemas and the House of Balmain.

Worn by ambassador Jessica Gomes and Australian modelling export Jordan Barrett, along with some of the nation’s hottest modelling talent, last night’s display premiered the latest collections of crowd favourites Kitx, Macgraw, Ellery, Dion Lee and Stella McCartney, just to name a few.

The fashion

From darkly fabulous floral prints to styles stunning, sleek and tailored, last night’s Collections Launch offered a tantalising taste of the season to come. Inspired by the notion of taking the leap – aesthetically speaking – the show set the standard for autumn winter dressing, encouraging individuals to challenge the boundaries of their personal style. Curated to reflect a versatile and wearable take on the boldness of the season, the runway show was punctuated by standout pieces, updates on urban legends and seriously cutting edge silhouettes.
