Rozalia Russian’s Spring Racing Beauty Look

For me, the Melbourne races are all about spring and florals and girly, fresh makeup looks

Melbourne-based tastemaker Rozalia Russian is a regular at the racing carnival, and loves the opportunity to dress up, while still adhering to each day’s dress codes. “In terms of race-day inspiration, I look to what’s happening overseas, such as New York and Paris fashion weeks, but I also keep in mind that the races are all about being sophisticated, ladylike and race-day appropriate.”

To complement “all the beautiful floral prints” that Rozalia is gravitating towards this season, she turned to Ross Andrewartha, director of artistry at Giorgio Armani Beauty. His advice: “A bronze, beautiful smoky eye.”

To achieve the look, he used the Eyes to Kill Stellar eye colour from Giorgio Armani, building the intensity to create an easy-to-achieve smoky eye. “It’s not about adding lots of different colours – it’s about adding one colour but really blowing it out on the eyes,” Andrewartha notes.

To complete the look, Andrewartha finishes with “the perfect nude” lipstick and a strategic application of his secret makeup weapon. Watch the video to find out more.
