Smile and chuckle as Wombat searches for the perfect gift to show Emu how much he cares in the 2024 David Jones Animated Christmas Windows, inspired by Lachlan Creagh’s beloved illustrated picture book.
Handcrafted in Sydney by the talented team at Macgyver Models, this year’s display took 12 local artisans over 12,500 hours to design, and another 120 hours to install. From the 6 November, stop by and delight in the intricate designs, layered sets, subterranean portholes, a cast of cheeky Australian wildlife and audible narration.
A Very Wombat Christmas is on display in our Castlereagh St windows from 6 Nov – 5 Jan at our Elizabeth St Flagship.
